I just wanted to add a few more comments to what I said in response to froggy66's forum article on time zones.
The truth is, trying to figure out the time difference between Whyville Time and your own
time is part of the challenge of Whyville.
The time on Whyville is same as East Coast time in the U.S., like for example
in New York. If you are in the UK, I think you are 5 hours ahead of us.
Do the following: come to Whyville and see what time it says on the bus.
Then look at a clock in your house. Subtract Whyville time from England
time to figure out what the difference is.
After you know that, you'll be able to add that same amount to any Whyville
time to figure out what it is in English time. So, if a party is at 1pm
Whyville time, you'll want to do 1 + 5 = 6, and come at 6pm your time to
attend!
