Hello guys welcome to "Make Me Over". The series where you can get the makeover of your dreams. This week I made over Dreamgrr22. She's also a fashion writer, so make sure you check out her articles. She describes her current style as comfy and casual. Howver she does like to jazz things up a bit, and wear something cute. Dreamgrr2 is looking for some outfits to wear to school, for this spring season. She wants to look nice, feel good and stand out. Let's see the three outfits I put together, for this fellow writer.
Outfit 1
Shirt - Newlook
Skirt - Booho
Trainers - Asos
Backpack - Topshop
Necklace - Piperlike
Tights - Whistles
This outfit may not look it, but it's very effortless. I picked out this super pretty tribal pencil skirt. I really think they are a staple, nowadays you can wear them in so many different ways and they'll still look good. To tuck into it, I found this amazing denim shirt with collars. These are fantastic, you can wear them with trousers or with a skirt like this look. The fact that it's a light wash, makes it even better. I also added this simple statement necklace, which really compliments the simple denim shirt. I wanted to dress things down a little, so I just added simple white vans for shoes, these give the outfit a more fresh look because they are white. I also added a backpack, because this is a school outfit. This part is optional, but if your school has a slightly stricter dress code you can wear tights. Or if you feel more comfortable with tights, go for it!
Outfit 2
Shirt - Misselfridge
Trousers - Vanmildert
Satchel - Fashionconscience
Sandals - Newlook
Hat - Solesociety
This second outfit, will definitely make you stand out in a crowd. I picked out this amazing pair of loose flowy, floral trousers. These are so comfortable, and Dreamgrr2 told me she really likes flowy things. When wearing patterned trousers, it's ideal to go for a solid color shirt. However instead of being boring, and just adding a white tank top. I added a lace white shirt, which is adorable. This outfit wouldn't be complete, without a hat. Therefore I added this super pretty, brown straw hat. Because it's spring and it's getting a little warmer, you can't go wrong with a pair of black gladiator sandals. I also added a satchel bag, because it's for school and is suitable.
Outfit 3
Top - RiverIsland
Jeans - Topshop
Kimono - Lookbookstore
Hat - Dotti
Satchel - Farfetch
Flats - Hm
This final look, is so pretty and elegant. I've gone for a kimono type of look, because kimonos are so pretty and flowy and easy to style. All you have to do is either pick a plain black top, or dress. Or you can pick a color from the kimono like I did. I simply picked out this pink tap top to go with it, I also added some high waisted jeans. They are so flattering on all kinds of body types, and are super pretty. This outfit wouldn't be complete without a hat, so this hat simply adds elegance. For the school bag I again went with a satchel, and some comfortable flat shoes.
So that's all for this week guys! I hope you enjoyed these looks. Let me know in the forums, which outfit you liked best for dreamgrr2.
