You expect a monarchy
With your head wearing the crown
And shove away views of democracy
So it won't bring you down
We sweep away our liberty
To conceal your distasteful frown
But it'd be ridiculous for you to think
For you, I'd let the team drown
You exhibit yourself as more of an authoritarian figure
And we pretend to be oblivious of your vigour
So you may find contentment in our discontent
And take part of a mentality so bent
That leaves us all too dumbstruck to confront
And those who do, you call too "blunt"
But naught is excessively frank
If it's addressing a lie
A misfortune you've created
To make us cry
And that's not very posh, or friendly
But you've chosen your way
And it'd be ridiculous for you to think
I'll accept this and stay
And in case you ever come and beg me "why"
It's because you've chosen a path that I'll never call mine
So you can lie to yourself, that's all well and fine
But for us,
I guess
This is goodbye
