This is a painting of an angel I did at a class a while back. (Like 2 years, Lo:) She doesn't have a face, but I think I like it more like that. If one little thing is off on a face, it ruins the whole painting. I love how soft she looks against the heavily textured, vivid colors in the background done with the palette knife. I also really like the roses she is holding. This was one of my first times using a palette knife, and I instantly fell in love with it.
