Hey all! Babyboo4u here! Today I would like to discuss the topic of... drum roll please... heroes. Everyone has different opinions on this topic. To me, a hero can't be just anyone. In my opinion a hero is someone who puts there life on the line to save the lives of others; someone who wants to see justice done, someone who will always be there when you need them. I interviewed some fellow Whyvillians to see what they thought of the word hero.

First, I interviewed Meg959:

Me: What is your definition of a hero?
Meg959: A hero is someone you can look up to, who will always be there for you when you are in need.
Me: Do you believe in super heroes?
Meg959: Yes, because a hero can be anyone or anything, your best friend or your parent.
Me: What does someone have to do for you to consider them a hero?
Meg959: All they have to do is be there for me, my teacher is like a best friend, they're always there for me.
Me: Okay, thanks, that's all.
Meg959: You're welcome.

Next I interviewed Blueyez3:

Me: What is your definition of a hero?
Blueyez3: Someone you can look up to, someone who does good, or someone who saves people.
Me: Do you believe in super heroes?
Blueyez3: No, because no one can fly and have super powers and stuff.
Me: What does someone have to do for you to consider them a hero?
Blueyez3: Someone who has saved me or helped me in some way. Or someone who has achieved my goal, ex. if I wanted to become a teacher maybe a really good teacher would be a hero to me.
Me: Who would you consider to be everyday heroes in our society?
Blueyez3: Firefighters, police, parents.
Me: All right, thanks for your time.
Blueyez3: No problem.

The last person I interviewed was pwinces4:

Me: What is your definition of a hero?
Pwinces4: Someone who saves lives or helps people.
Me: Do you believe in super heroes?
Pwinces4: You mean like in cartoons?
Me: Umm... it depends on your perspective of "super heroes".
Pwinces4: Well, no one has super powers, but yes, we have heroes in the world.
Me: What does someone have to do for you to consider them a hero?
Pwinces4: They have to be a good person or save someone; basically, do a lot of good in life.
Me: Who do you consider everyday heroes in our society?
Pwinces4: I consider all the people who worked as rescue workers relating to September 11th heroes, or anyone is has done something great, like saving a life or something.

Well, there you have it. Four opinions on heroes. What does the word hero mean to you?

This is your star reporter, babyboo4u, signing off... over and out.
