Hey! It's Wildfire9 here, once again! I was browsing the petitions and was utterly disgusted with what I saw!

"Club y 1000 clamz?????"- In this petition this person thought that Club Why should only cost 50-100 clams a year! Heck, I could join every day!!! Pah-lees!

First of all, 1,000 clams is a GREAT price for Club Why! Think about what you get:

  • Beta Testing Games: We Club Why members got to play Kalah days before anyone else! How cool!

  • Private Parties: These are great! For the year you are in Club Why you can have as many parties as you want with your closest friends in the Disco!

  • Club Why Card: You get to dress up real cool and have fun!

  • And more! I sure think that's worth 1,000 clams a year!

Here's another lousy petition: "u get 100 clams when u 1st sign on"-"you wont have clams beggars. and it will help them out a lot."

Gosh! You know that people would sign on with 10 names and send all those clams to their main account! They would have so many clams! Yes, it could boost Whyville's economy if they spent it (Oh boy! I'm sounding like Bush with his tax cut!), but then people would be getting free clams without learning! (Learning is the whole point of Whyville!)

I can't believe how greedy people are! Try having useful petitions!

Maybe Whyville could have a patrol team like the WSP for the petitions. They could delete useless petitions and polls.

Lots of love,
Wildfire9

Editor's Note: That's a great idea, Wildfire9.  Actually, I think City Hall would love it if more good citizens perused the petitions and reported petitions which do not follow the instructions.  The two you show here may not be reasonable, but they're not actually against the rules.  Have you seen others that don't belong in Whyville?
