5) In 1964, at age 4, Roger Lausier was saved from drowning off a beach in
Salem, Mass., by a woman named Alice Blaise. Nine years later, in 1974, on the same
beach, Roger paddled his raft into the water and pulled a drowning man out of
the water. The man was Alice's husband.
4) Nicholas Stevin Wadle was born at 9:09 am on the ninth day of the ninth month
of 1999. He weighed 9 pounds, 9 ounces.
3) On three separate occasions -- in 1664, 1785 and 1860 -- there were shipwrecks
where only 1 person survived. Each time that person's name was Hugh Williams.
2) There was a boy named James Bond, 15, a pupil of Argoed High School,
who was a candidate for exams and
was given the examination number 007.
1) Joseph Figlock was passing an apartment block in Detroit in 1975 when he was
suddenly knocked unconscious. A baby had fallen 4 stories and landed on him. A
year later, he was passing the same apartment block -- and once again was hit by a
falling baby!
