Hi, this is Roxiane with another article. I know this has been a long time since I have written, but a recent event has convinced me to inform everyone about a major topic for us... drugs....

I know that some teenagers at my sister's junior high take drugs, but in elementary?!?!

It's really sad, but there is this 11 or 12 year old boy in my class named Bob (okay, that's not his real name, but you know what I mean). I never thought Bob would ever take drugs -- it never even crossed my mind! He was such a good student, got his homework done, and had lots of friends... until a few weeks ago. That's when he started to get dark circles under his eyes, never got his homework done, had detention every day, and he also lost his friends.

I didn't realize what was going on until he got 'high' at school and was acting very strange and saying strange things. I only thought he was in a hyper mood, but I was wrong. I never said anything because I thought it was hormones, but when he came to school and told everyone, he was caught taking drugs by the police.

I had thought he was kidding around. But he wasn't. It was all true. The smart, kind, Bob had turned into someone else.

So let this be a lesson. Drugs can't make you a better person. Its cravings eat you alive! It's so dangerous! It could wreck your life!

Please, if someone asks you, "You want some drugs?" say "NO! I'm not stupid," and refuse, please! Well, it's your choice if you say yes or no. But in my opinion you should say no, 'cause drugs ain't helping anyone!

Thanks for reading!
