Yay!! Summer's finally here, and you're ready for "Fun in the Sun", right? Right. You're probably going to the beach... swimming... playing sports... you know. All that fun stuff. BUT, that's only enough to entertain you for a week or so. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO!?!?  I suggest that you make a list of things to do during your summer (partly because your parents are going to go crazy if you're around all the time, complaining and moaning). And don't forget to add a section titled "Rainy Day Stuff". (This SHOULD include Whyville, or you're crazy!)

Get out those Barbies, and invite a buddy over. (Actually, it's quite entertaining when you're playing with the dolls. Just think how many times they can get married before all of their husbands find out...? LoL) Dig out your old action figures, and build a tower out of old toilet-paper-rolls. Let's see how many blocks that Superman can "fly" over before he crashes! (Yes, your parents may think that you've gone crazy, but remember; they can't understand us anymore than we can understand them....)

Okay, okay. So you don't want to travel back to the days when you still needed a baby-sitter. What should you do? Let me tell you. You can get your brain flowing by trying to write a message back wards to your friend. For more of a challenge, try writing the letter with the opposite hand that you usually write with. It's harder than it looks.

If you have long hair, you can try different hair-styles. Use lots of gel to make a mohawk that is a foot tall. Or you can curl it here, straighten it there, crimp it here, you get the picture.

Boys, if you have permission, get your sister's curling iron and make a total 'fro. (Just be careful not to burn yourself. Sure, it might look easy when your mom or sister is doing it, but they're experienced.)

Another fun thing to do is to invite a friend over, and go downstairs to play some Monopoly. Maybe Pictionary, Scrabble, or even cards. You can even make up your own rules to the game.

Well, my time is running out, so I'll just give you a few ideas:
1. watch movies/TV
2. go on Whyville
3. attempt to remember how to play that computer game that you haven't played since Kindergarten
4. talk on the phone
5. (and maybe the most educational of all) READ A BOOK!

One last thing to do, while making your list (it could even be a poster) is to decorate it with stickers, colour it, and trim off the edges with special scissors.

This is razelberi, chewing on a piece of raw gum...
(Hey, I just got another idea! If you're stuck on a rainy day with nothing to do why don't you do your homework!?!)
