There once was a girl named Cindersoot,
She placed a glass shoe upon her foot,
Upon the clock's toll the hour midnight did fall.
Cindersoot fled all the way home,
Leaving the prince to wander and roam,
Sadly but surely he did find, the small glass shoe she left behind.
He sent the slipper throughout the land,
The righteous owner shall have his hand,
He soon found her and they were wed,
And then a wonderful life they led.
