(Continued from Part I...)
Babygirl9, babygirl2, and I are trying to figure out how to escape,
while the Twister Fish and the giant cockroaches are eating toenails
in the corner.
"We've got to get out," cried babygirl2.
"Well, duh," I said.
"Only a Roachevelt student can help us," said babygirl9. "I'll
email brittbrat1! If only I could get to that icon...."
If only was the key. The three of us were tied to the fingers of
the giant hand chair. Tgirl, Peter007, and shelly1 were on the other
side of the room. Peter was bawling his eyes out.
That's when I saw it. A football. Someone must have left it behind
while having a projectile fight.
"Peter," I whispered.
He looked up and saw the football. Silently, he picked it up, and
to my horror, threw it at the roaches!
"Rahhh!!!" The roach ran at Peter and in one gulp ate him up!
"Excellent," said the Twister Fish, pressing its scaly fingers
together.
In the meantime, the football had landed by me. I picked it up and aimed...
bam! It hit the icon.
Knowing only one thing to do, I jumped and ended up on my email. Quickly,
I typed a letter to brittbrat. Then I hurried back to Whyville -- I made
it back to Y-House without anyone knowing I'd been gone.
We waited until we saw a newbie enter Y-House. Seeing us tied up,
the newbie ran straight to City Hall, who had just heard the news of
our capture from brittbrat.
Storming in, City Hall demanded that we be freed. Well, duh, the
Fish said no.
So we had to make a decision -- stay as captives of the Twister Fish
and the cockroaches, or be sent into cyberspace while City Hall deleted
the file we were in.
Knowing the only choice to make, we agreed to be deleted.
5... 4... 3... 2... 1... 0!
The file began
deleting... and so did the ropes we were tied with!
Running, we dove from Y-House just as it disappeared.
Then I remembered: Peter had been left behind! Did he get deleted
with the Twister Fish and its allies?
Suddenly, I heard a noise from the ruins of Y-House... it was
Peter007! We ran up and dug him out, and I smacked his face to wake him up.
"Peter! Are you ok?" I asked.
"Can I see your homework?" was all he said.
I threw a pie at him.
