In the July 11 issue of the Times, I read the article "Bashing, You Say? by mandyars. Mandyars discovered that if you try too much to get into the big, comfy, orange chair at the Newbie Center you get a "Sorry, you must be invited to sit in that chair" message. But if you continue, you will be told, "Too much gratuitous bashing. Sorry, chat has stopped." This seemed hilarious to me.

Shortly after reading that article, I was over at Grandma's, trying to help the "younger generation," as I call newbies. I decided to go and sit in the orange pot filled with green foliage and red bulb-like flowers. I noticed that Grandma said in her purple writing, "Please get out of my geraniums!"

I thought this was just something she said all the time, like in the winter when he says, "Now don't throw snowballs at me!" But no one else was sitting in a pot of flowers like I was, so I did it again a couple of times and she kept saying, "Please get out of geraniums!"

So finally I got out of her geraniums. Can you imagine some little lady in real life coming at you with a cane, saying, "Get out of my geraniums!"

I respect Grandma and she helped me when I was young, so I got out of the pot. That time. Usually these days, when I go to Grandma's, I sit in the pot of geraniums, with Grandma squawking away at me.

I think this is rather amusing, like bashing a great orange chair. It just shows you how much time our City Workers put into making Whyville a great and interesting place.

So if you ever see Grandma say, "Please get out of my geraniums!" you may look around to find dancer153 sitting in a pot of flowers.

*Going to sit my favorite pot of flowers.* (Better avoid Grandma's cane!)

Author's Note: I tried to send a picture of me "flower sitting," but my e-mail program is not advanced enough yet to send a big picture. If you can get a picture of you "flower sitting," can you please send it to the Times Editor to go in the Gallery? Don't know how to take a picture? Read Hermionez's article called "Are you Picture Perfect?" to learn how.
