Summer, summer
Oh what a lovely season
My favorite season,
Where children merrily play,
free from the worries of school.
Where people of any age can enjoy the jubilee,
Lose themselves in the celebration.
The heat goes to everyone's head and they soon
forget about all other worries, and kick back.
Nights and nights after merry ol' fun,
the celebration is over, leaves began to fall,
and back to school it is.
Until next year, I tell myself,
just keep my head held straight,
but I can't help but feel dissapointed,
an emptiness almost.
For my favorite season,
the best season,
is a year away.
