Hello, I am coconut02, and I would love to be senator. I know this
platform is sort of long, but it's worth the wait! :)
I would try my hardest to suggest great ideas to City Hall and other
city workers. One of my ideas is to improve the games. I think that
there should be a serious poll taken on which games we most dislike or
never play, then delete them to replace them with more up to date and
fun games. What I would like is this to be arranged so that people who
were whyvillians before the change of the games not to have a way to
earn more than new-comers.
Also, It would take a while, but I would just like to get the
ideas on improving the games started. Also, it would give everyone a
chance to keep succeeding and keep raising their salary.
Another idea of mine is in the Newbie Center, there should be a small
guide showing newbies tips and other things about the games, because at
first they are confusing. My other idea was that newbies should get a
newbie pack. Not clams or a small salary, but just some parts that are
of a tiny bit better quality then Grandma's parts.
Another thing is, I think the test for the chat license should be
revised and extended so that if people pass, the waiting time could
just be three days. I don't think that the answers should be there,
because if you can't figure out the chat license yourself, you usually
don't understand the rules. I have to admit, that's what happened to
me. I know that the waiting period will be three days if you get your
salary to 20, but I have to say, most new comers have trouble even
getting it to five clams a day.
I would love to try to think of ideas on how city workers and even
average whyvillians could make whyville a more attractive place to
sponsers.
Another idea of mine is that in the face factory, it should probably be
easier to restock parts. If you have a lot of parts, then there are
tons of pages to go through and it becomes confusing, just as I have
seen one of our famous designers, YargPixie, complain about, and being
a designer myself, I think that she is right. In YargPixie's petition,
it stated that she wanted the re-stocking page to have all of the parts
on one page, like the page with the deleting parts. I'm not exactly
sure if this would take up too much server space, but if it does, this
would be a good little small idea to convienience the designers once we
get some more sponsers.
I think that I have the experience because I have been part of Whyville
for about 9 months now, and I have been president of my own student
body, and I love helping people whether new or old. I am a part of
BENEFIT, a group to help newbies, and I attend Media Hour and Trivia
Hour, so I am an active citizen. I also have attended two Meet the
Maker's meetings.
Thank you so much for all of your time,
