Raise your hand if you know who Robert Plant is. Good... now, raise your hand
if you know what Robert Plant is! Well...
Today, I felt like spicing up my face avatar. Thinking about what I could do,
I got the perfect idea! I would wear the four symbols from the Led Zeppelin
"Zoso" album (also known as "Four Symbols")! It was perfect,
except I had some trouble finding them.
I looked up the meaning of the icons in Akbar's, but nothing. Then I looked
up the names of the Led Zeppelin band members, typing in "Robert"
last...
Something indeed popped up! But I was a bit dissapointed when I saw it was
that same old newbie hair, "Robert Plant", instead of some cool
symbol. Just as I was about to click "Return to the face store main page",
a thought dawned upon me.... Why was that part named Robert Plant? What connection
could possibly exist between yellow newbie hair, and the awesome rock star and
Led Zeppelin front man, Robert Plant?
A small facepart, with a small name that I had always looked over. It used
to mean nothing to me. I never noticed it! Now that it was all
alone, though, I finally got it! Akbar, you're a funny guy!
Let's see if you understand why our trusty, cheap "noob" hair
is named after Robert Plant!
Picture of Robert Plant:
Well? Do you understand it now?
It's the hair! Robert Plant's beautiful bouncy blond locks, and Robert Plant's
blond wavy hair!
Well... what an article... all about a single solitary facepart, and Robert
Plant's hair.
Robert Plant, just to fill you in, was an awesome rock star, and the lead singer
for Led Zeppelin.
Robert Plant is a hair in Whyville named after the hair of Robert Plant. Many
people see it as "just for newbies".
Akbar is a funny, awesome guy who has room for drawing lessons from some people
like Kitadoll, but still cool. :-)
Anyway, if anyone ever finds a face part that represents one of the symbols
of the "Four Symbols"/"Zoso" album, just tell me... PLEASE!!!
;-)
Athena92, siging off to think of more random things to write about...
Editor's Note: The Robert Plant was one of the first face parts
available in Whyville, and for a long time Akbar's parts -- the ones y'all call
"noob" parts today -- were the only ones that anybody wore, because
that's all we had! Citizens only began designing their own face parts in March
of 2000, a year after Whyville was first opened. Learn more in Vanilla's article,
Akbar's Face Factory.
