We may not like the same things,
Wear the same clothes,
But we all feel the emotion
Of love.

People understand this emotion best
On Valentine's Day
What I don't understand
Is, why not every day?

Can we not show love
Toward one another
Every day?

Or are we bound to this one day?

If our world had more love,
There'd be peace,
But we don't
Spread love like we should.

But at least on this day
We may all share
Cards and gifts,
To show that we care!

So go
Celebrate this special day
With those
That you
Love.
