Yet another scam has been going around Whyville ever since the WhyPox broke
out! A few crummy crooks are trying to take advantage of people who want to
look their best in this virtual world of ours. These people go around town,
telling everyone they know the cure for WhyPox, urging people to Y-mail them.
Then these scammers reply to those inquiring Y-mails with a message like:
"Ok, it's really complicated. See, my friend's like this computer genius,
so I asked him for the cure. It turns out there's a way to virtually erase the
coming pimples and boils, and a way to reverse the achoo-ing process. You need
to have a certain software to do this, so it needs to be done on my computer.
If you want, I could get on your account and do it for you.
Some people have y-mailed me back, telling me they 911 reported me. Please,
that is not neccessary. This is not a scam, but if you're uncomfortable with
it, or don't want to trust me, just let me know, and I will leave you alone."
