Once, there was a ladybug by the name of Dot. Dot had always been an adventurous ladybug, daring to do things no other ladybug would think of doing.

One day, Dot decided she was tired of her mediocre lifestyle in the plain, boring outdoors. She yearned for the domestic household, the wood, the paint, and the warmth. Dot craved all this immensely. She needed to experience it!

So, one day, with that thought in her mind, Dot took a brave step toward the elegant, broad door of the home. She discreetly slipped under the door, and instantly her eyes were struck by the sight of glorious, spotless, gleaming marble floors, crystal and chandeliers twinkling with light.

"Amazing!" she breathed, just before spotting a being, clothed in a blue uniform and white eyelet apron, carrying a stick with feathers protruding out the end. What this creature was about to do was not clear; all Dot knew was that she needed to get away, and quickly. But she froze in fear as she saw the housemaid scrutinizing the room for any minuscule sign of imperfection.

Dot shuddered in regret just as the maid's eyes landed on her, and the maid cautiously bent down to scoop her swiftly away with a dustpan. Dot then knew that she would have been better off in her plain, boring outdoor world, than ending up getting killed by her own curiosity.
