Hi Whyvillians, way2hot44 here. I'm going to tell you a story of a time I almost gave a lot of my face parts away.

Recently I got a y-mail from a so-called newbie. She was raving on and on about how she didn't have any clams, any friends or any face parts. I felt bad about having all these good and bad face parts, so I decided to give her a few.

That night, I replied to her Y-mail asking if it was okay if I gave it all to her the next day, because I was tired. She replied saying that it was okay. So I happily and proudly fell asleep.

The next day, I logged on to Whyville, eager to help that same Whyvillian. I soon discovered that I already had gotten another Y-mail from her. It was sent in the early morning when I was still safely in bed. The mail said that a few girls at the Beach were teasing her and that she needed face parts pronto!

I was extra motivated this time. But when I was done reading the y-mail and tried clicking on the red backpack above my bus, I got a message that said the web service was down. So, I decided to be patient and do something else while waiting for Whyville to come back online.

I got so preoccupied that it wasn't until two hours later I finally remembered! Quick as a flash, I logged on to Whyville and found yet got another y-mail from the same newbie, telling me to get her those face parts pronto! But I noticed that she now had really decent parts for a newbie.

The fact is, there are many greedy people out there these days. I knew that few oldbies would give that newbie parts that were all that good. So I replied to here, saying nicely that I'd noticed that she had gotten all the parts she needed, and I didn't think that mine were needed by her anymore. I would probably donate them to another newbie in need.

This person replied back quickly, saying that she still needed mine for trading to people and getting clams. This seemed pretty pushy to me. I was getting very annoyed, so I replied back saying, again nicely, that I didn't have parts that were all that good. She kept replying back with some very bad excuses, so I silenced her.

This wasn't enough for me. I wanted to know the whole truth. So, I went onto another account that I barely use and dressed up in the newbie parts that Grandma gives you. Then I Y-mailed that newbie, asking her if she was a fake newbie and if she was trying to scam an oldbie.

She replied back, saying she was scamming an oldbie, and talking about how gullible this person was -- that person was me! -- and things like that.

So I used the 911 report tool on her, and never heard back from her again.

I hope you learned from this article that some newbies get a lot of really good parts very quickly -- too quickly. Beware: They might not really be newbies, but oldbies conducting a very clever plan to trick people out of clams and/or face parts.

Just think before you act.
