Have you ever been confused? I know I have, and boy, it's not fun! To help you deal with that uncertainty in the brain, I've come up with five ways to kick frustration out of the way.

1. Write it down
Write down everything that has confused you. When you've done that, look the list over and try to figure out why each problem or person or event made you confused and how you can solve the problem.

For example, let's say that you have a math problem: "What is the fraction 15/95 in its lowest term?" You know you know the way to get to the answer -- you've been up all night studying! (Or even better, you've studied every night all week!) So, write the problem down. Ask yourself, "Why has this made me confused?"

The answer might be that you forgot HOW to do the problem. Now, you ask yourself, "How can I solve this problem?" Simple. Start by clearing your mind. It may be jumbled up with all kinds of thoughts. Just concentrate on the problem and the way will probably come to you! All from just writing it down.

2. Think about it
Why are you confused? Whatever the reason, think about the problem and the reasons for your confusion. Don't let it just sit there and cloud your brain. Think about everything that made you confused. Maybe when you're truly focused on the problem, you can figure out what you can do for yourself.

3. Free your mind, and your body
Try doing some mind exercises. Do some stretches. Take a break. Move around some. Just do whatever you can to free your mind. Even if that means going in your room, placing your head into your pillow and screaming as loud as you can. (Hey, it works for me...)

4. Tell someone
You could go to an older brother or sister, an adult and even your favorite stuffed animal, and explain to them why you are confused and talk it out with them. They should be sure to help you. (I always go to my dad. =) )

5. Do whatever
As you can see, there's tons of ways to beat confusion. I'm sure you could come up with yet another one that works especially for you!

Now, get out there and get confused... uh, that didn't come out right....

Going to go do my dreaded math homework,
