Recently I discovered this cool puzzle called sudoku. I was in reading class when my teacher randomly asked us how many people had done sudoku. Almost everyone raised their hand. I soon learned that sudoku is a popular puzzle that is in most newspapers daily.
Sudoku grids consist of nine boxes with nine little boxes in each of the nine boxes. There are a couple numbers in each box filled in for you. Basically you have to fill in the sudoku grid with numbers one to nine, but there is a catch.
In each of the nine big boxes you can not repeat the same number. You can also not repeat the same number in the vertical row of nine or a horizontal row of nine. It sounds really confusing but once you try it starts to make sense.
I have learned that sudoku is a math puzzle that is educational and fun! So go take that sudoku grid out of your newspaper or print one off the internet if you're ready for some serious mind boggling fun!
