What did I tell you? Morganna is back and ready to solve another mystery! However, this time, I am unveiling the curtain of Whyville fashion and design. So, sit back, relax, and look into the world of Whyville's face part design and its upcoming designers.

For quite a while now, Whyville has had many different trends. For instance, I am sure we all remember when the part "PaZaA" was considered in, or when the hair "Starstruck" was unsellable and not to mention, untouchable. However, this year, Whyville has a few new designers stepping up to the plate, and ready to take a swing. I decided to selectively choose and interview several designers, whom I thought have designed great quality parts with practical prices:

The designer I interviewed first was YargPixie. Some may argue that YargPixie is an "oldbie" and has had her fame and fortune in the business of Whyville design. However, I feel as though YargPixie is making a comeback this year by designing new parts with a fun and fresh look! Some use to confuse YargPixie with her fellow designer and friend, Crumple; well, not any more! YargPixie is now notorious for her brightly colored hairs and imaginative shirts. Her innovative designs can be found in her store: Face Parts GALOURE.

Morganna: When did you first start designing parts?
YargPixie: Late '03.
Morganna: What gives you inspiration to design a part?
YargPixie: Just making children happy gives me inspiration!
Morganna: What is it about a part that can make it so expensive?
YargPixie: How long it took to make/quality.
Morganna: Out of all of your parts, can you list a few of your favorites?
YargPixie: Oh boy, WAY too many! I've made over 400 parts! That's a lot!

The designer I interviewed second was mitsuy. Originally designing parts for her own purpose, mitsuy's designs were soon recognized and Whyvillians were screaming for more! She is renowned for her colorful anime designs and beautiful hairs, which are well-priced as well. Mitsuy's designs can be found in several different stores: ~~*Mitsuy*~~ Corp., ~*Mitsuy Anime Corp.*~, and Mitsuys Charity Corp.

Morganna: When did you first start designing parts?
mitsuy: I started seriously around 1 1/2 years ago, not many before that.
Morganna: What gives you inspiration to design a part?
mitsuy: I do it out of boredom, or if I want to wear something.
Morganna: What is it about a part that can make it so expensive?
mitsuy: If I have to stock 20+ a part or more a day, I raise the price.
Morganna: Out of all of your parts, can you list a few of your favorites?
mitsuy: I love "seiji ~*mitsuy*~," "blue blazes xmitsuy," "eyes xmitsuy," "kurokari xmitsuy," and "for rose775 xmitsuy."

The designer I interviewed third was USAblonde. When I first y-mailed her, saying that I would like to interview her for this article, she was confused because she did not consider herself a good enough designer to be recognized. I admired her modesty. Fortunately, after a few persuasive y-mails (5 to be exact), she finally agreed to be interviewed! As I was saying to USAblonde, I truly believe that she is on her way to success in the world of Whyville design. Despite her doubt of her ability, I award her the "Break-out Designer of the Year Award" because of her keen eye for high-quality parts and tasteful designs. She is becoming well-known for designing vivid and colorful eyes such as: "ToXic," "on an island in the sun," and "look into the deep blue sky." USAblonde's designs can be found in her store: Nothing IS something.

Morganna: When did you first start designing parts?
USAblonde: I designed my first part about a year and half ago. I started making more stuff last summer, when a lot of the days I didn't have a way to go anywhere. I don't really like to call myself a designer, because a lot of my parts aren't original.
Morganna: What gives you inspiration to design a part?
USAblonde: I think being bored inspires me, I guess. When there's nothing else to do, you could just go sit at the computer, being lazy, challenging yourself.
Morganna: What is it about a part that can make it so expensive?
USAblonde: I make my parts "expensive" because if it takes me long enough to make them, I better get something for my effort :)
Morganna: Out of all of your parts, can you list a few of your favorites?
USAblonde: My favorite part I made was called: "cLoWnS aLL aRoUnd uSsS." I had originally made it for two friends and me, but I ended up giving all three away. I never did get one of my own; but other than that, If I had to pick more favorites, they would be things I designed on my own because even if they didn't look very good, they were mine and I was kind of proud of them? :P

The last designer I interviewed was MiraMagic. Also known as Ducky464, MiraMagic has worked with many well-known designers, such as mitsuy and sadie91, her friend on and outside of Whyville. The first thing that caught my eye, when I checked out her store, were the prices! Every part looked well-made and fashionable, yet her prices were unbeatable! Frankly, it is difficult to find good-quality parts for a reasonable to low price. Because of this, I felt as though MiraMagic had to be recognized because of her great talent to design parts (and make it seem like a piece of cake!) and rational prices. Her parts, along with some of sadie91's designs, can be found in the store: The Love Slide.

Morganna: When did you first start designing parts?
MiraMagic: I started designing about a week after Halloween in 2004.
Morganna: What gives you inspiration to design a part?
MiraMagic: Nothing inspires me to make something. I get bored and draw with the flow of my mind.
Morganna: What is it about a part that can make it so expensive?
MiraMagic: I make a part expensive if: It will be rare in the future, it took a lot of time to make, I like it more than all my others, or I need clams for something.
Morganna: Out of all of your parts, can you list a few of your favorites?
MiraMagic: I don't really have a favorite face part. I don't like what I design too much.

Well, I hope you enjoyed reading about some of Whyville's successful and upcoming designers, whom we know will make it far in this business! Good luck designers keep designing; thank you readers for reading! As for me, I've got a bag of ice, for my fatigued fingers, waiting for me downstairs. Just as I promised in my last article, in the words of my all-time favorite actor (and Governor,) "I'll be back!"
