There are some females that think being "ditzy" is cool. I believe in this case that, not only are these people wrong, but they are destroying what our ancestors have done for us.
Think about this: our ancestors had to fight for equality (ability to go to school, and be considered equal to men). We have the privilege of this freedom to just "be there." No one has thought twice about this in this day and age. Some women think it is right to act ditzy. I, for one do not agree at all.
I decided to interview other females for their thoughts on this issue.
My first interview was with mandakins.
Dancemini: As a female, do you think it is right for other females to act stupid/ditzy?
Mandakins: No way, because it just makes boys have the right to stereotype us as stupid or of less importance than them, it just gives some girls a bad name.
Dancemini: Why do you think women do this?
Mandakins: I think it's because they want to impress a boy and they think it might turn the guy on or make the girl look cute. I think it looks and sounds silly.
Dancemini: Do you think that females acting like this believe it is "cool" or it will make people like them?
Mandakins: Well yes, because people only act a certain way because they think other people will like them more or it will make a certain guy like them, isn't that why everyone does that . . . because they think it will make them look better.
My next interview was with sarahb81.
Dancemini: As a female, do you think it is right for other females to act stupid/ditzy?
Sarahb81: Well one, you do not need to act ditzy if you just want to be noticed. When you do this people look at you in different ways, so personally I think that females should not act ditzy.
Dancemini: Why do you think women do this?
Sarahb81: Females probably do this only for attention or just to try to fit in.
Dancemini: Do you think that females acting like this believe it is "cool" or it will make people like them?
Sarahb81: Well some people may think it's cool that they are showing people a different side of themselves, but when you do this most people may think you are just doing this practically for attention.

TiAmoTH: I think it is stupid for females to act stupid.
Dancemini: Why do you think women do this?
TiAmoTH: I think they do it to get a attention.

TiAmoTH: I think women think they are cool when they do this but other people don't think they are.

Tgp23: Sometimes is might be okay but when you're out with you friends it's not cool to act stupid or obscene.
Dancemini: Why do you think women do this?
Tgp23: Beacause sometimes we want to be the main person and or want to be in the spotlight and want to be recognized or popular.

Tgp23: No, it's not really cool to act like that but it's up to the people who are doing it and how they feel.

Hope423: No, they should show how smart they can be.
Dancemini: Why do you think women do this?
Hope423: Because it makes the guys think they are smarter then the girl, therefore the guy will like that girl.

Hope423: Yes.
