Hello everyone, I'm Shorty799! Christmas is coming up which means snowmen and presents! But, is that what Christmas is all about? I think not! Many people forget the true meaning of Christmas . . . cheer. And some of that Christmas cheer involves songs ("Deck the Halls", "Jingle Bells", or "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree") and yes, presents. But that's not as important.
Christmas is a wonderful time of year (my fave too!) But it isn't all glitz and glamour. Not, "It's just what I wanted!" or "I love it!" Christmas is the time to celebrate our Lord and everyone around us. It is a time to just have fun or hanging with relatives/friends.
When I was younger, I only liked Christmas for the gifts. But, as I grew older, I learned there was much more to it. I realized that it doesn't matter where you're at or what you get. It's about joy and to celebrate life because we are so incredibly lucky to have it.
So enjoy the holiday and everything about it, and to spread the joy. I interviewed two Whyvillians and wrote a little poem to hopefully bring you Christmas cheer :).
At my first stop, Club Scion, I found hotty4441.
Shorty799: Why do you like Christmas?
Hotty4441: Well, because of the snow and you get together with family and stuff.
Shorty799: Did you used to like it only for gifts?
Hotty4441: Yes! Best part!
Shorty799: What do you want for Christmas?
Hotty4441: An MP3.
Shorty799: Do you have anything else to say to Whyvillians everywhere?
Hotty4441: Have a Merry X-Mas!
Next, I went to the South beach and found GCmusic5.
Shorty799: Why do you like Christmas?
GCmusic5: I like Christmas because presents are awesome!
Shorty799: Haha. What do you want this year?
GCmusic5: I want a computer for my room and a name necklace.
Shorty799: Is Christmas your fave holiday?
GCmusic5: No, actually it's not. Halloween is my fave.
Shorty799: Do you have anything else to say to Whyvillians everywhere?

Here is a little poem written by yours truly:
It is Christmas Day!
Winter has come! It is here
I long await the pitter-patter of Santa's reindeer.
I hear the tick-tick-ticking of the clock,
The house is silent,
there is no talk.
But where is Santa? Where could he be?
He certainly did not forget about me!
But wait - what is that?
I see a little Christmas hat!
He's here! He's here! Santa is here!
"Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas, my dear!"
Is Santa really talking to me?
No, no, no, it can't be!
But, my, it is can't you see!
That jolly good fellow gave me hug as he said good-bye!
I felt like I was going to cry.
But no, I stood there smiling away.
Oh I love Christmas Day.
