For this week's Whyvillian in the Spotlight, I nominate Anyonka. Anyonka, or Mariah, really deserves this recognition. She's done a lot for Whyville and actually a lot for the Times.
Mariah was looking at an article one day and thought it was interesting, she decided to look for more information on that topic, and found an article that was exactly the same as the one in the Times. The article had been plagiarized. Then, she decided to check out more of that writer's articles, it turns out most of them were plagiarized. She reported it to the Editor and those articles were deleted. Mariah is a Times hero.
She's also done so much for Whyville. She joined Whyville in May 2004. She's been helping Whyville ever since. She is a Y-mail Helper and helps as much as she can. Although she isn't on as often as she used to be, she still answers all of her mail in order to help anyone that needs it. She is also a Silver Street Team member, helping Whyville gain many new members.
She hasn't just done a lot for Whyville, but a lot for me, she's one of my best Whyville friends and we've been friends for a long time. She's a really nice person and loves animals. She would do anything she could to help an animal. She also loves to read and is really smart. She's a very unique person and that's one reason I became friends with her.
So I think that Mariah should be this week's Whyvillian in the Spotlight because not only is she a good friend, but she's done lots to help Whyville.
