When a man cannot create,
He tests time through other means;
And when a man cannot make,
He broods over different things;
Thoughts becomes his prison then,
Even when designed for kings

Where the wild wind blows the trees
I live alone, so alone;
Hermit life on empty streets,
I'm on my own, on my own;
Now my world is painted blue,
It's not the same without you

On the bottoms of my shoes,
I count days I've made it through,
And with each mile walked they grow;
Child, I'm alone, so alone;
But my goals are not so soft
If I must, for them I'll rot

On my back, a bag of clothes;
Who am I? A bag of bones;
I'll lend my arms, lend my life,
Call me unknown, spare advice;
Let's live like we did before,
I've told you what I'm here for

This guitar and calluses
Throw away the lifelessness
Of the dreams behind my eyes,
The ones where love never dies;
Give me years and wrinkles too,
I'll learn to live without you

GIve me passion, music too,
I'll learn to live without you,
Might take years and hard knocks too,
But I'll learn to live without you,
Wish this was already through;
How will I live without you?

How can I live without you?
How can I live without you?
How can I live without you?
Somehow, I'll live without you

Author's Note: This is a song I wrote so it might sound a little repetitive, at least towards the end.
