Here are your tools. You'll need to use the right tool in the right type of dig site or you won't find anything! So take a good look at what you've got below:
Sifter -- good in alluvial soil, which is made up of loose materials like gravel and sand deposited by running water. To use it, say the word sift at the dig site.
Pickax -- good in cliffs and mountain sites made of solid rock. To use it, say the word pick at the dig site.
Brush -- good in cliffs made of softer materials, especially if you're looking for fossils. Otherwise, you might shatter the precious specimen. To use it, say the word brush at the dig site.
We'll give you a hard hat with a light on it in the dig sites where you need it.
