Whyville Game Design Contest Rules

1. Contest Description. The Whyville Game Design Contest (the "Contest") is designed to encourage eligible Whyville citizens and classroom students ("Entrant(s)") to use their creativity to create their own games. Judges will choose the winning entries and prizes will be awarded in accordance with these Official Rules.
2. Sponsor. The Contest is sponsored by Numedeon, Inc. ("Numedeon"), a California corporation with principal place of business at 300 S. Raymond Avenue, Suite 7, Pasadena, CA 91105, USA.
3. Binding Agreement. In order to enter the Contest, you must agree to these Official Rules ("Rules"). The Rules consist of the terms and conditions on this page. If you are a minor, you must obtain the prior permission of your parent and/or legal guardian, who must agree to these Rules on his/her and your behalf before you can enter this Contest. Because these Rules form a legally binding agreement with respect to this Contest, please read them carefully. If you do not agree to the Rules, you are not eligible to participate in the Contest or to win any of the prizes. You agree that registration for this Contest and/or a submission of an entry in the Contest constitutes your agreement to these Rules.
4. Eligibility. The Contest is open to users and classes who have registered accounts on Whyville. Eligible contest submissions are WAND games published in the AMD Game Zone in Whyville between Monday, March 4th, 2013 at midnight Pacific Time (PT) and Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 at 11:59:59 P.M. Pacific Time (PT). Internet access is required to create and enter WAND games into the Contest. At the time of submission of a WAND game, each Entrant must: (i) be a registered user or class on Whyville; (ii) have obtained his or her parents' or legal guardians' prior permission and have agreed to be bound by these Rules. Winners must submit a completed Consent Form before prizes can be awarded. Employees, interns, contractors, and official office-holders, as well as their immediate families, of Numedeon, its affiliates, and any representatives or agencies of Numedeon or other persons professionally connected with the Contest are not eligible to participate. This Contest is void where prohibited.
5. Prize Substitution. Numedeon reserves the right to substitute prizes for those listed on the Contest Details page due to availability or export restriction issues.
