Whyville's three Senators help communicate citizen ideas, suggestions, and concerns to the City Workers. Senators also help patrol the Petitions for inappropriate posts.
Submitting your platform at the Poll Booth is the first step to becoming a Whyville Senator.
In order to post a platform, you must meet these requirements:
- Have been a citizen for at least 90 days.
- Pay a 500-clam filing fee (this is paid right before you submit your platform.)
Once you've submitted your platform, you'll need to be one of the top SIX signature-getters to make it to next round of the election, after which only THREE will become Whyville senators.
