The satchel is like your own private database of stuff. An average citizen can hold up to 500 items in their satchel! Citizens with a Pearls allowance, however, can hold up to 1,000 items! Here's just a quick look at what you can hold:

It may seem overwhelming at first, but soon you'll find yourself looking around in your satchel all the time. If you want to delete a face part or redeem a voucher, your first stop will be the satchel.
The satchel is also a record of your history on Whyville. Since many games & activities use books to store your scores, cards, and data results, you can always check back in your satchel to revisit your Whyville exploits.
