In case you don't already know about the Whylitzer, it's a prize awarded to citizens who have written an informative article about Whyville that's published in a real world news source, like a school newspaper, community magazine, or online publications like your school or church website, an on-line newspaper or newsletter, an e-zine, or a blog.

What can you win? 1000 clams, a one-month Why-Pass, and the special Whylitzer Quill, which allows you to change the color of your chat as many times as you want for 90 days.

While your Why-Pass lasts, you'll get some very special perks:

• You don't need Face Factory Vouchers (FFVs) to design at the Face Factory. You can make as many designs as you can afford to pay for with clams!
• Your Satchel can hold twice as many items.
• Your Address book can hold twice as many friends.
• You can buy animated face parts.
• You can wear twice as many face parts on your avatar.
